Details of achievements
Name Kamla Arora is known as Gunjan in the social field. Born in Pithoragarh district. After the death of his father, he has been working for 12 years by learning from his mother’s struggles to stop child begging from families who have been begging from generation to generation and connecting the mentally ill, abandoned and disturbed people lying on the streets with education and the mainstream of the society. Currently, along with service, he is working as an accountant in the Cooperative Department. Along with donating one’s body, one’s sacrifice and penance in the field of service is today bearing the expenses of the education of 245 children addicted to child begging and labour. Due to which today the children of deprived communities have reached from class 1 to class 12. Veerangana’s campaign of giving education, not alms, has started not only in Uttarakhand but all over India. Veerangana is bearing the expenses of one meal and all the education of the children in Haldwani from her hard earned money. Today, the children who are laborers and drug addicts who collect garbage are trying to turn their dreams of moving forward into reality by joining Veerangana’s campaign. A change is taking place in the society with the continuous ‘Chalo to School’ campaign. Due to which the society becomes aware and stops children from begging. Considering it a curse, they are hesitant in giving alms to their children.
Description of attached records – Attached newspaper with details from the point of view of all photos and media news. Family and social background – Kamla Bisht Arora (Gunjan Arora) Father’s name – Mr. Hira Singh Bisht Uttarakhand State Active Agitator Mother Mrs. Madhavi Bisht Brought up in village-Dhunga district-Pithoragarh, he is dedicated to service since childhood. Life passed in the midst of struggles in such a way that till today, accepting every person’s pain as one’s own pain has become the pain of life, I have seen every custom of the world in a torn frock, that every moment of it still stings in the chest. I faced the struggle of life alone and there was no one to help me. Maintaining the example of service from childhood till today is not within everyone’s power. When a born servant is born, what name can one give to such a person? The shadow of fatherless love in class 1, the illusion of a 19 year old widowed mother, the words of a girl who lived a poor and helpless life.I got only emotions which shake the life of every person. During this life of struggles, somehow mother’s elder uncle Kashi Singh Airi ji got mom a job in a women’s dairy. It was from this job of mom that I took my education and initiation, and today I have become a social worker in front of the society and am helping those people. Those who are unable to move forward after living a life of helplessness and poverty, are unable to realize their dreams while facing the hardships of hungry and thirsty life. The weak and helpless are always being beaten from door to door. They would be forced to stumble and suffer the brunt of poverty like me and would be forced to sleep on the roadside, those who, despite having the right to education, remain illiterate. And they always spend their lives in helplessness. For such people, today I am taking the initiative by taking the dominance of my education and service, so that no person in my society is forced to face life, and after getting educated, taking the right decision, he can make an important contribution in this society. My fight always continues against poverty. Everything changes with time, but if you always think with a goal in mind, then perhaps success will start coming to you. During the fight for the Uttarakhand movement, under the guidance of Honorable Kashi Singh Airi, I learned that along with service, fighting for the rights of the people should also be included in our life. Be it a fight for politics or service, unless we raise our voice, we will not be able to protect our own people. Will not be able to fight for. Therefore, keep moving forward and keep waving the flag of humanity by lighting the torch of service. If you start moving ahead in the world, you will make many friends and enemies too, but with good deeds you always get God’s support. Thinking all this, I entered the world of service and everywhere, be it women, men or children, I help people in need of time. doing.
bengali amma
On the way, Bengali Amma was found lying deranged on the roadside, neither able to speak nor make any gesture. With the help of an acquaintance, with the help of 108, Amma was taken to Sushila Tiwari Hospital and admitted in emergency, the hospital administration took care of Amma for a few months. Amma’s leg was fractured, she spoke Bengali, no one understood her language, I I kept visiting her from time to time, but due to her behavior she became famous in the hospital, I got information from the Chief Medical Officer of the hospital that she is now in fine condition, Amma needs to be kept in a safe place, but I had no arrangement to keep Amma, but if Amma had stayed in the hospital for some more time, she would have become more ill. Five other abandoned women like her had come to the hospital for treatment, as told by Medical Officer Pandey ji. That there is no provision of shelter home for the abandoned in Haldwani, searched for shelter for a few days but there was no arrangement to keep them anywhere. In those days, Mr. Shyam Singh Dhanik, the founder of the National Blind School, had opened a Vridva Ashram. When we talked to him, he agreed to keep it. Bengali Amma stayed there for a few days, but she was also mentally weak and helpless. She neither understood the language nor could speak, I talked to the woman who lived in the rental house, she was a Bengali woman from Orissa, due to which the woman also tried to talk to Bengali Amma in Bengali, Amma told that her daughter-in-law and The son made her sit in the wrong car and Amma accidentally reached Uttarakhand, Amma did not know where she had reached, so due to the fear of being in an unknown place, she would shout and remember her children and keep making noise again and again, time. But she would take the names of her children and disturb everyone, sometimes even commit filth, take off her clothes and start roaming around in her Bengali attire. Dhanik ji got upset and asked Amma to take her away from there, Amma stayed at Gunjan’s house for a few days. But she bathed Amma and took care of her like a mother at home. She used to sleep in Gunjan’s bed, treating her like her own child and giving whatever she ate to everyone, but no one could understand her language. My family members protested a lot about keeping Amma, Amma stayed at home for 15 days, kept searching for Vridva Ashram for Amma, even when Vridva Ashram was found, no one was ready to keep Amma. After some time, after talking to Women Commission Secretary Ramindri Mandrawal ji, he made arrangements to keep Amma in his house in Dehradun, somehow arranged a vehicle to take Amma to Dehradun and left Amma to Dehradun, now she is safe and healthy there. But Amma remained in touch with me for a long time and whenever she went to meet me, she would cling to me and start crying. Like Bengali Amma, I have provided so much support to so many people and taken them to safe shelter, no matter what caste or religion they belong to, for me they are members of my family.
Anil Kumar: lying abandoned in the base hospital, stood on his feet.
Anil Kumar is an abandoned person lying in the base hospital of Haldwani. Mary’s friend, Sister Vandana ji of the Base Hospital came to know that she had been lying abandoned on the bed for a long time. Whose thigh bone is fractured and is also mentally disturbed. I thought he would die like this and would get more infection in hospitals. So immediately tried to make arrangements for him and came to know that four months ago he was brought by 108 ambulance. There is no trace of his family. The doctor cannot even perform the operation because he is mentally ill and does not want to take risks. No one wanted to become his heir. But operation is also necessary, when I asked the doctor, he had already sent Sushila Tiwari. But the people of Sushila Tiwari Hospital refused to take him, so he was brought back to the base hospital. It smelled like dirt. Despite the refusal of the sisters, I touched her and got her bedsheet changed. He brought food and clothes and the next day I took him to Sushila Tiwari Hospital in 108 ambulance. The hospital administration harassed me for an hour and they were not admitting me. Because it was necessary to have a person to stay with him and take care of him, somehow Dr. Bhandari ji admitted him at his own risk, asked Pandey ji of the canteen for his food and drinks, to constantly arrange for clothes and fruits for Anil Kumar. I made arrangements and kept praying to the Dr. that Anil Kumar should be treated properly, so that he can live his life. He was beaten up by the cleaning staff of the hospital thinking he was alone, it was my responsibility to complain and change his daily routine to make security arrangements for him. I She wanted him to get well soon and go back to his home, she used to ask him about his house every day while talking to him. But he could not remember anything, whoever asked would give a different answer and would try to change the situation by calling him Didi.
Similarly, she struggled for her treatment for three months, but she survived without operation.
He got cured, gradually he completely recovered mentally and physically, he started keeping everyone happy by singing, asked the ward boy to arrange for him to take a bath and kept going with fruits and clothes from his house.
radha's oath to change her life
Radha has ruined her life by consuming alcohol for 25 years. Under the influence of alcohol, she sleeps anywhere on the streets. There is a liquor distillery in Haldwani Mangal Padav, there is always a crowd there because of the hotel and vegetable market. I often go there to buy vegetables. Suddenly his eyes fell on Radha. She was looking mentally disturbed. She was in her senses. She was not in a mood. She was wearing dirty clothes, had red eyes and messy hair and looked as if someone might have hit her. Mother was with me at that time and she told me that she is a drunkard, she always remains like this. It was revealed that drunken rickshaw pullers and laborers use it as a means of entertainment. They kick him. There were injury marks on her head, she could not say anything because she was with her mother at that time. When Gunjan reached home, she became worried as to how a girl can live like this on the streets. She again went out to search for him in the evening. Since the house was in the market, it was convenient that one could go anywhere at any time. At 8.00 in the evening, when I went out to look for her, she was drunk on the roadside and was asking someone for a ticket of Rs. 10. Says She said that she had to go to her home in Rudrapur. It was not easy to go to Rudrapur at night, somehow Gunjan brought him to her home, as soon as he was brought home, the family members protested strongly, using very foul language and tried to throw him out of the house, but at that time he had to take a bath and wear it. Gave him his clothes and gave him a place to sleep in a separate room, she was drunk, that day was the day of Raksha Bandhan. She tied Rakhi to Mangal Padav outpost incharge Chetan Rawat and made him her brother, and also took a pledge that he She would never touch alcohol, Chetan Rawat gave her Rs 1000 and also fed her sweets, the next day Gunjan started preparing to send her to Nari Niketan. After staying in Nari Niketan for a few days, she improved, learned to read and write, gave up drug addiction, but the director there forcefully called her father and threw her out. Had she lived for a few more days, perhaps she would have become a good person. Tried five times for Radha but being alone, I could not do anything special for her, I even wrote a letter to the Women’s Commission, but no one supported
nepali boy
Every walk of life is not easy, everyone is troubled either way, so how can we give the message of unity by joining together. Be it any religion or caste, everyone comes into the world in the form of humanity. And becoming unknown, they turn into dust forever. This is the message it gives. This story was read by Ekesh, a Nepali child aged 7 years, who was ill in bed for a year. The child’s mother worked in Nepal and father in Nainital, grandfather used to stay with him in the hospital for treatment, the child continued to be treated under the supervision of an orthopedic specialist for a long time. The child’s bones were melting, which is called bone TV. His grandfather used to earn his living by washing utensils all day at the hotel businessmen’s house and eating dinner in the evening. And used to sleep on the ground at night. A lot of money was spent on the child’s medicines. He did not have money for further treatment, when Anil Kumar was admitted to Sushila Tiwari. So Ekesh’s grandfather protested a lot about keeping Anil, because he would soil the bed. After a lot of persuasion and prayer, he too would serve Anil Kumar, when he felt that Gunjan would serve Anil Kumar as a social service. When she was doing service, she also expressed her grief and asked for support for the service. In this way, for about a year, she arranged for financial assistance and free treatment and food at the request of the hospital management, so that she could save her money and invest it in other facilities. Gunjan used to bear the expenses of clothes, food and medicines for the child. When the child was very distressed, she would stay near him, feed him and take care of him like a mother. She would cater to his every need and he would happily share his pain with her. Sometimes, when the doctors were negligent, Gunjan had to request that the child be taken care of. She could not always be with him, but she could not stay with him from the office. She used to go to meet him on her way back, used to talk to Ekesh on phone every day, he always used to order things of his choice. In this way one day he recovered and went home to live with his family. And now he is somewhat alright. But it is not known whether his illness will ever be cured.
geeta bua' s changing life
Geeta Bua was not able to go out of the house for 25 years because she was mentally and physically weak and was living her life like an abandoned corpse. Her children were very big businessmen and associated with spirituality in the city of Mathura Vrindavan. Called several times but never came to collect. Geeta Bua’s parents always give her food, water and clothes. Geeta Bua’s life was always spent amidst darkness. There was never anyone who could understand his pain. She cannot express her pain, she goes to them and gets their love and affection. And she doesn’t even realize the absence of her children, it seems as if it is in her nature to treat sick daughters and give them a new life. Many times one faces opposition from family and has to deal with negative thinking people in the society. Still, I consider it my duty to give life to people like Geeta Bua. For the last many years, she has been treating Geeta Bua to the world by treating her and taking her along with her, taking care of her in the morning and evening, bathing her etc. Yes, many times he carries her to the hospital on his back, because she herself cannot climb the stairs of the house due to physical weakness, so she has no other support except me. Now Geeta aunty has started walking herself. After a lot of treatment, she has started recovering. Many times she herself keeps talking to everyone. She has entered her new life with a lot of wisdom. Maybe his treatment will be long, may God make him a healthy person so that he can fight the battle of his life on his own and by demanding his rights from his family, many women and daughters suffering from domestic violence will be helped to live an ideal life through positive thinking. I believe that one day I will try to experience the maximum in these works, no matter how much struggle I have to do for it, I even support others in their sorrows. So that is also equivalent to giving happiness to someone. This is what I believe. We cannot change the mentality of people but on the basis of experiences we can make good efforts and give them results. So that he does not delay even a bit in changing his views.
banshilal's new home
Banshilal- One day suddenly I felt like seeing the night shelter system built by the Municipal Corporation in Haldwani Rajpura, student social worker Jyoti and I were with me, on the way I saw an old man lying sick on the side of the open road in a deranged condition. People nearby were passing by giving him alms. He looked hungry, thirsty and exhausted. On enquiry, it was revealed that he had no family. His wife is already dead. As long as he was a working person, due to sudden weakness and illness he could not walk much. As long as he used to earn two meals a day. His relatives were also his own, but since he became ill, his relatives also threw him out of the house. He could not move his hands and legs due to which he was not able to do any work. Bansilal used to sleep on a bed on the roadside for three years. He spent all the seasons of summer, winter and rain on the road. Whoever came would give alms and go away. He had a young daughter. Is. Who works in the house of relatives. But his brother-in-law does not want to keep him. Because he is unable to do any work. He remains lying on the roadside in the cold every day. People nearby give them food and water on the road. Similarly, he spent half his life on the road but there was no one to support him. When I asked the Municipal Corporation about the living arrangements, there was no support for it, I came to know that the hostel is never opened for people like Bansilal ji, they are not allowed to come there, at that time it was a challenge for me, Bansilal ji. How to help, somehow some nearby college students came there and told them about the help of Bansilal ji. Two children agreed to help us and bought clothes for him. Made arrangements and with the help of nearby people, wrote an application for the police and after taking help from the people, sent Bansilal to Ashadeep Moti Nagar. So that he can live a safe and healthy life there and make an important contribution to the welfare of the society. Presently Bansilal ji lives in Ashadeep. He is living his life staying healthy and safe. They get good food and drink there. The sister there serves everyone very well. food with one’s own hands
